Teams Look to Join Tri-State Rugby Conference
The emergence of 3 new teams and the realignment of another means that it is quite possible 4 teams will be joining the Tri-State Rugby Conference this coming Fall.
Former Metropolitan New York Rugby Union member USMMA, Kings Point has been playing in the Empire Conference but with the movement of teams there it seems that the Long Island school may best be served returning to the closer confines of the Tri-State area.
New programs include King’s College Men, Hartwick College Men and Monroe College Women.

“It is great to see the growth of the game and we welcome these new programs to the Tri-State Rugby Conference”, stated Commissioner Tony Brown. “The challenge is to support these teams in the early years and provide a competitive environment that has parity among the programs.”
